Andy Livingston Park

Andy Livingstone Park is a combined urban park and athletic facility on the edge of Chinatown in Vancouver, BC.  The park was built on a sand bed that was used to cap contaminated soils beneath.  Trees in the park have developed rapidly, growing the loose sand.

Working with unique soil conditions has proven to be successful as trees in the park have surpassed growth of all adjacent street trees planted several years earlier.

Soft landscape construction was installed.  The project value was approx. $500,000.
