University of Guelph Athletic Field Multiplex

The University of Guelph Athletic Field Multiplex consists of two lit FIFA 2 Star artificial turf field, one artificial truf practice field and one natural turf rugby field, complete with all related pedestrian, spectator and sport use amenities.  A netowrk of asphalt pathways, entry plazas and pedestrian lighting will allow access from the existing parking areas and campus connections.  The design intent is to provide a site for premier varsity, intramural and community athletic events, nestled within a park like setting.

This project includes storm water collecton from the artificial field surfaces which is then directed to a holding tank used for irrigation for the natural turf areas.

Construction of this project was from March 2011 to November 2011.
